Shelley Einfeld IP is a boutique intellectual property law firm and consultancy established in 2014 and based in Sydney, Australia.

We help our clients identify, protect and enforce their intellectual property rights in Australia and overseas. We act for private clients including small to medium sized businesses in a range of industries as well as providing specialist trade mark consultancy services to law firms and patent attorney firms.
In addition to our main focus on trade mark law and practice, we assist and advise our clients in relation to other areas of intellectual property such as copyright, passing off and domain names, including disputes in these areas, and related rights such as the consumer protection provisions (misleading and deceptive conduct) of the Australian Consumer Law.
We work with trusted and experienced law firms and patent and trade mark attorney firms overseas so that we can provide Australian clients with access to specialist intellectual property services throughout the world. We also provide advice and assistance about Australian intellectual property law to overseas clients doing business in Australia.

About Shelley
Shelley Einfeld is the Director and Principal of Shelley Einfeld IP.
She holds undergraduate degrees in Arts and Law from the University of New South Wales and a Masters of Intellectual Property Law from the University of Melbourne. Shelley is a lawyer, a registered Trade Mark Attorney and a Notary Public (NSW).
Shelley has worked as an intellectual property lawyer in Australia for over 30 years. Her particular specialty is trade mark law and practice but she is also an experienced advisor in relation to other areas of IP law including copyright and domain names.
Shelley works with Australian and international clients and has an extensive and longstanding network of overseas IP associates. She is experienced at managing large trade mark portfolios in a wide range of industries.
Prior to setting up her own firm, Shelley worked at specialist patent and trade mark attorney practices in Sydney and in the intellectual property group at a large Sydney law firm. She was also a consultant at a national full-service law firm for over 14 years. Shelley is also a part-time tutor in the Trade Mark Practice course at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Shelley is a member of the Trans-Tasman national committee of management of the Intellectual Property Society of Australia and New Zealand (IPSANZ), of which she is a past President. She is also a member (and former committee member) of the International Trademark Association (INTA).
